How do I install the APK?

The app is not distributed through the Play Store yet, so Android requests one-time permission to install it.

  1. Tap “Download the Android app” and wait for the download to finish.
  2. Tap “Open”. If that button does not appear, open your browser downloads or the version archive, then select sofoste-latest.apk from the latest release.
  3. If Android blocks the installation, open the suggested settings and temporarily allow installations from that browser or file manager.
  4. Return to the APK, start the installation and accept the Play Protect security check if Android offers it.
  5. When the check finishes, install and open Sofoste.

Download only the APK published in the official Sofoste repository. You can revoke the browser installation permission afterwards in Android settings.
